  • General

    • 30% of lymphomas
    • young adults
    • site: lymph nodes, esp cervical
    • scattered Reed Sternberg cells
    • rosette-like ring of T cells around tumor cells
  • Staging

    • I: single node or structure (spleen, thymus, waldeyer ring)
    • II: 2+ ipsilateral nodes
      • mediastinum is single site
      • hilar nodes are lateralized
      • II2 = 2 sites, II3 = 3 sites, etc
    • III: contralateral nodes
      • III1
      • III2: paraaortic, iliac or mesenteric nodes
    • IV: extranodal involvement
  • Classical Hodgkin

  • Nodular lymphocyte predominant
