    • hemorrhage, necrosis, vascular congestion
    • may have residual rim beneath tunica albuginea
    • may have PMNs at periphery
    • granulation tissue after 5 days

    • hemorrhagic necrosis of testis with vascular congestion consistent with testicular torsion
