    • bimodal age 20s and 60s
    • site: cribriform plate of ethmoid sinus

  • Histology

    • small round blue cells
    • lobular nests
    • 30% have Homer wright pseudorosettes (core of fibrillary neural matrix)
    • 5% have true rosettes

  • Stains

    • pos: neuroendocrine, calretinin, S100
    • sustentacular cells: GFAP
    • neg/rare: CK
