- infants: 2.5 E9/L
- children and adults: 1.5 E9/L
History- Benign ethnic neutropenia: 25-50% of African ancestry have ANC 1-1.5 E9/L
- Drug induced agranulocytosis
- Infection: HIV, HCV, tick, Brucella, neutropenic fever
- Chemorad
- hypersplenism
- chronic idiopathic neutropenia is dx of exclusion
Immunologic (GAT and GIFT dx tests)- neonatal alloimmune neutropenia
- autoimmune
- malignancy induced: HL, T-LGL, Wilms
- Transplant: SCT, kidney
Marrow bx- aplastic anemia
- PNH
- MDS
- infiltrate: LGL, leukemia, malignancy, granuloma
- fibrosis
- congenital neutropenia
