    • most commonly adenocarcinoma
  • Bile duct adenocarcinoma

    • architecture: infiltrative glands. Can also be micropapillary, acinar, or cord like
    • cytology: small-medium cells, cuboidal, columnar, can be pleomorphic
    • desmoplasia
  • Other carcinomas

    • mucoepidermoid carcinoma
    • lymphoepithelioma like carcinoma
    • sarcomatous cholangiocarcinoma
