Clinical- rare, < 1% of colonic polyps
- large size (> 0.5cm), often pedunculated
- left colon (particularly sigmoid and rectum)
- mean age 60s
- tx complete endoscopic removal with future surveilence
Histology- often papillary, vilifiorm, pedunculated
- prominent serration, abnormal crypt architecture
- hypereosinophilic cells, presence of dysplasia, nuclear stratification
