  • Splenic diffuse red pulp small B cell lymphoma

    • morphology: diffuse infiltration of red pulp by small lymphs, villous cells in blood
    • stains positive: CD20, DBA44, IgG
    • stains negative: CD5, CD10, CD23, CD11c, IgD, annexin A1, CD25, CD103, CD123

  • Hairy cell leukemia variant

    • looks like HCL, but TRAP negative, prominent nucleoli, aspirable marrow
    • stains positive: DBA44, B markers, CD11c, surface Ig, CD103, FMC7
    • stains negative: CD25, AnnexinA1, TRAP, CD123, HC2
