  • Clinical

    • skin nodule
    • site: trunk, face, extremities, butt
    • good prognosis
    • must stage to r/o nodal ALK+ ALCL, which has much worse prognosis

  • Histology

    • sheets of anaplastic cells (RS-like) in dermis +/- fat
    • background reactive lymphs, histiocytes, eos
    • non-epidermotropic

  • Stains

    • positive: CD4, CD30
    • negative: CD15
