Clinical- skin lesion
- frequent ulceration, hemorrhage
- rapid progression
Histology- band like, lichenoid infiltrate with epidermotropism
- CD8 T cells infiltrate epidermis
- adnexa invasion
Stains- positive: CD3, CD8, cytotoxic (granzymeB, TIA1, perforin), beta F1
- negative: CD4, CD5
Ddx- aggressive clinical course distinguishes this from the following:
- rare CD8+ MF
- pagetoid reticulosis
- lymphomatoid papulosis type D
