  • Histology

    • architecture: multinodular or plexiform cell clusters
    • 3 cell types: histiocyte-like, spindle, multinucleated giant cells
    • subtypes
      • fibrohistiocytic: nodules of histiocyte-like cells
      • fibroblastic: elongated clusters and short fascicles of fibroblast-like cells
      • mixed: both of the above
  • Stains

    • positive: vimentin, CD68, SMA
    • CD68 in histiocyte-like cells and giant cells
