  • Clinical

    • can progress to neoplasm
    • if has hx of neoplasm, most likely early reocurrence
  • Histology

    • mucosal folds, undulating urothelium, thickened urothelium
    • not neoplastic: lack detached papillary fronds, lack complex arborization
  • Ddx

    • dysplasia/UCIS with early papillary formation (has atypia)
    • papillary neoplasm (has detached fronds or arborization)
