    • particularly monocytic or myelomonocytic AML

  • Histology

    • diffuse infiltrate in dermis and subq
    • lack epidermotropism, separated by a tumor free zone (Grenz zone)
    • blasts (mononuclear cells, variable size)
    • single filing

  • Stains

    • positive: myeloid (MPO, lysozyme, chloroacetate esterase), CD43
    • negative: CD3, CD20
