    • site: extremities, head and neck, other sites

  • Histology

    • infiltrative, fascicles, whirls
    • spindle cells
    • atypia, hyperchromasia
    • can contain numerous small vessels
    • more agressive if mitosis and tumor necrosis

  • Stains

    • varied actin/desmin (at least one positive)
    • can be fibronectin+
    • focal CD34, CD99
    • S100-, EMA-
