  • Stains

    • chromogranin, synaptophysin, CD56+
    • TTF1+/- (50%)
  • Ddx

    • atypical carcinoid (less mitosis, necrosis)
    • poorly differentiated SCC (has at least focal squamous diff)
    • solid adenocarcinoma (has mucin)
