    • cholestyramine crystals (red, smooth, benign finding)

  • Signout

    • Fibrinopurulent exudate containing basophilic crystals
    • Comment: Given the clinical history of recent sodium polystyrene sulfonate use, Kayexalate-associated ischemic hyperosmotic injury would be included in the differential diagnosis.
