    • obstruction of affecte vessel
    • tumor emboli to peripheral organs
    • site: pulmonary trunk (80%), pulmonary artery (60%), aorta
    • mean age: 48 (lung), 62 (aorta)

  • Histology

    • intraluminal growth
    • spindle cells, atypia, mitosis, necrosis

  • Stains

    • positive: vimentin, osteopontin
    • variable: SMA
    • negative: CD31, CD34, FVIII, but positive if has angiosarcoma differentiation

  • Molecular

    • 12q13-14 amplification
