    • almost exclusively middle-aged women
    • site: vagina, vulva, cervix
    • rarely in male paratesticular or epididymis

  • Histology

    • polypoid
    • straps of striated muscle, rhabdoid cells
    • fibrous stroma, vascular channels

  • Stains

    • positive: MSA, myoglobin, desmin
    • negative: SMA, vimentin, CK, S100, GFAP, Leu7, EMA, CD68
