Clinical
age: 10-39
site: extremities. Also, trunk, head/neck.
Histology
architecture: nodules frequently with central necrosis. Resembles necrobiotic granulomas.
cytology: epithelioid and spindle cells. Slight nuclear atypia, vesicular nuclei, small nucleoli
frequent perineural, perivascular invasion
low mitosis: < 5 per 10 hpf
fibroma-like variant: predominantly spindle cells
Stains
positive: vimentin, CK (9, 19), EMA
frequently: CD34
