    • peak age 30-50s
    • site: head, distal extremities
  • Histology

    • vessels lined by plump cells
    • vessels are usually small and immature. It can also involve a larger vessel, with intraluminal component
    • vessels can also be large and mature in the dermis
    • vessels are benign and have endothelium and myopericytic layer
    • inflammatory background (eosinophils, lymphocytes, follicles)
  • Stains

    • positive: CD31
    • actin positive in myopericytic layer around vessels
