  • Histology

    • haphazard blend of spindle cells, epithelial islands, and fat
    • spindle cells can form lattices/nets
    • epithelium can form cysts, glands

  • Stains

    • positive: CK
    • CD34 stains non-spindle stromal cells
    • can have focal: actin, myoglobin
    • negative: desmin
