Clinical- age: 10-25 or 40-50 if skull involvement
- site: long bones (75%), acetabulum, ilium, talus, calcaneus, patella, temporal bone
Histology- architecture: sheets
- chondroblasts: nuclear clefts/grooves, round/polygonal cells, pink or clear cytoplasm
- osteoclast type giant cells
- can have pericellular (chickenwire) calcifications, aneurysmal bone cyst-like changes, typical mitosis
Stains- chondroblasts: S100, vimentin
- can be positive for CK
