    • solid nodular or anastomotic trabecular
    • peripheral palisading
    • rosettes in 1/3
    • small cuboidal fusiform cells
    • mitosis, necrosis
    • stromal hyalin or mucin

  • Stains

    • CK+
    • neuroendocrine mostly negative
    • TTF1 negative

  • Ddx

    • poorly differentiated SCC (has at least focal squamous diff)
    • small cell carcinoma (salt and pepper chromatin, higher NC ratio, moulding)
