  • Clinical

    • site: lower extremities, chest wall, abdomen, upper extremity
    • size: up to 10-20cm
    • prognosis: 90% persists
  • Histology

    • vessels: can have 2 patterns
      • most common pattern: venous, cavernous, and capillaries
      • rare pattern: capillaries only
    • large segment of contiguous involvement
      • vertical: skin -> subq -> muscle -> bone
      • horizontal: multiple muscles
    • mature fat
