Clinical- site: lower extremities, chest wall, abdomen, upper extremity
- size: up to 10-20cm
- prognosis: 90% persists
Histology- vessels: can have 2 patterns
- most common pattern: venous, cavernous, and capillaries
- rare pattern: capillaries only
- large segment of contiguous involvement
- vertical: skin -> subq -> muscle -> bone
- horizontal: multiple muscles
- mature fat
