Names- T cell prolymphocytic leukemia
Clinical- median age 65
- organomegaly, generalized lymphadenopathy, skin involvement in 20%
- lymphocytosis, anemia, thrombocytopenia
Morphology- T prolymphocytes (small-medium lymphoid cells)
- prominent nucleolus
- less common variants: small cells w/o nucleoli, cerebriform nuclei
Stains- positive: CD2, CD3, CD7, CD52
- negative: TdT, CD1a
- 25% coexpress CD4 and CD8
