    • male > female (5:1)
    • mean age 60s
  • Histology

    • benign architecture: thicker/more dense than papilloma. Still has good polarity, papillae mostly delicate (occasional fused papillae)
    • benignish cytology: can have rare basal mitosis, inconspicuous nucleoli, fine chromatin, uniform nuclei (but may be enlarged)
    • otherwise looks like urothelial papilloma: exophytic papillary
